Liz Sharkey
Liz is a Chartered Forester with over 18 years experience in the industry and boasts a vast range of skills covering all aspects of forestry and woodland management - from the creation of a new woodland, to the production of Forestry Commission-approved Woodland Management Plans for mature woodland.
Founded in 2014, Liz is the driving force behind Sharkey Forestry Ltd, providing expert advice to land owners who wish to create new woodland or sustainably manage existing woodland.
Liz is able to offer two parts to her business - consultancy and contracting. Sharkey Forestry works to balance clients’ objectives, proving that conservation and recreation can be enhanced whilst improving long-term timber value, through sound silvicultural management. Liz also has an established database of reliable, certificated contractors and suppliers and is therefore able to arrange and supervise contracting projects to ensure all work is carried out on time, in-full and to a high specification.
